Thai fans riot after Deftones

Most fans get disappointed when their favourite bands don’t show, however Deftones fans riot!

Concert goers in Bangkok rioted after the US metal act bowed out of their first ever Thai concert at the 11th hour.

According to the Associated press, the show at the Thunderdome arena was due to start at 8pm but was called off by organisers at 9:30pm.

In a statement posted on their Facebook, Deftones blamed “local power issues that threatened the safety of the band and their fans” for the cancellation.

Angry fans then literally ran riot, hurling anything they could get their hands on at the venue, destroying Singha beer tents and tossing beer kegs (ouch!)
