Flood Bank: Brisbane Music Benefit Gig for 2011 Queensland Flood Victims

The Brisbane Music Community Presents FLOOD BANK :: Thursday Feb 3 at The Old Museum Brisbane Music Benefit Concert for 2011 Queensland Flood Victims Communities right throughout Queensland have been affected by devastating floods.

Now is the time to band together and take action for the people of Queensland. The Queensland spirit of hard work and digging in to help a mate is alive and well in the south east corner with Brisbane bands joining forces to stage a truly epic night of music at the Old Museum in Fortitude Valley on Thursday 3rd of February from 5.30pm.

The Brisbane music community is made up of bands, artist management, booking agents, street press, promoters, suppliers and venues. Together they are working hard on this event which will see 100% of the takings from event tickets and bar sales going to the Premier's Flood Relief Appeal to help those Queenslanders affected by the recent floods.

The Brisbane bands confirmed so far include:

The Medics
Bang Bang Boss Kelly
The Baby Seal Club
Blonde On Blonde
Grand Atlantic
Texas Tea
plus a few more surprise additions still to be confirmed!
