The past two weeks have seen The Jezabels wrap up a national tour with bluejuice, unpack, wrap up uni and release their follow up EP to their debut EP “The Man Is Dead’ (2009) called ‘She’s So Hard’, in store now independently through MGM Distribution. The first single ‘Hurt Me’ has been added to community radio across the country and Triple J. To celebrate and fill in the time on their now Uni free hands, The Jezabels are excited to announce a run of headline shows throughout November. ‘She’s So Hard’ is a continuum of style and sound from their debut, highlighting the powerful, faultless vocal ability of the band's compelling front woman Hayley M, showcasing more of the band’s unique blend of indie pop and rock that has garnered the quartet notable reviews. “What’s great about the Jezabels’ live get up is their complete intensity; there wasn’t a song in their setlist that was less than entirely commanding” DRUM MEDIA “A hulking sense of space looms over vocalist Hayley Mary, whose story of dependence and emancipation gathers epic scope as she hits pace. Her shrill, potent vocal and intellectual ferocity drills in what many of us already know - that this Sydney band are perhaps the most literate, exciting band in the Australian indie rock/folk scene today.“ THE BRAG
“Their smooth transition and humble dispositions effortlessly win the crowd’s affection.” TIMEOFF
