MSFEST 2010 Line Up Announced!

Grab your calendar, whip out your highlighter and get ready to circle the biggest date of the festival year.  Saturday the 6th of February 2010 sees the musical juggernaut that is msfest return to Inveresk Park, Launceston, showcasing what is guaranteed to be nothing short of a mind-blowing line up.

Now in its 5th  year, msfest has cemented itself as Tasmania’s biggest one day music festival, bringing a diverse collection of internationally acclaimed artists to our own backyard, while simultaneously providing much needed support and awareness about Multiple Sclerosis and The MS Society.

Combine a scintillating arrangement of Australia’s best musicians set on the grassy fields of Inveresk, with Tasmania’s perfect late Summer weather and you’ve got what is sure to be another phenomenal msfest experience.

After overwhelming popularity last year, organisers have committed to once again recreating the luxuriant VIP lounge. Which means that 200 lucky high end punters have the opportunity to experience a lavish spread of gourmet foods,  sipping on premium beverages whilst kicking back on stylish lounge suites, all at arms’ length from the main stage.

Whether you want to kick back on the grass with an icey cold can, throw down some serious moves in the dance arena or go mad in the mosh pit with 10, 000 fellow revelers, msfest  promises to have something that is sure to get your groove on in 2010.

This years line up includes

Main Stage: Eskimo Joe, Bliss N Eso, Karnivool, Evermore, Kisschasy, Short Stack, Jessica Mauboy, Kate Miller Heidke, Funkaors, The Sundance Kids, Dash & Will, Regular John

Dance stage: Sneaky Sound System, Potbelleez, Miami Horror,  The Aston Shuffle, Bass Kleph , Goodwill, Hook n Sling, Sam La More, Tommy Trash, Tim McGee

Due to msfests’ constantly mounting popularity the cap of 10,000 tickets are being ‘scooped up’ increasingly quickly by visitors and locals alike who ‘don’t want to miss the moment’.  It is highly recommended not to contemplate too long and commit yourself to becoming part of an awesome experience whilst supporting an important cause.
