Beholders of the ancient key that unlocks the gateway to good old fashioned high times, Tame Impala will trip the light fantastic around Australia on their national Sundown Syndrome Tour in September and October.
The Sundown Syndrome Tour will be the bands first headline outing since March, and sees them stop at almost every nook and cranny our scorched piece of earth has to offer. Sundown Syndrome is also a new Tame Impala track to be released July 17, a hypnotic, melancholic daydream which the band recorded in London at Toe Rag studios with Liam Watson in the midst of their European tour earlier this year.
Whilst this 20 plus date tour is ahead of them, Tame Impala are currently in a different place entirely, geographically and metaphysically. The Perth cavaliers are currently in a large structure that resembles something between a mansion, a treehouse and a shed, in Indidup, about 1 hour from Margaret River. They've been holed up there for a month, with another month to go, putting together the pieces of what's to be the debut Tame Impala record.
Joining Tame Impala on the bus will be Sydney wunderkind Jonathan Boulet. Tame Impala are on tour this September - October. Check out dates below and head along to one of their gigs. |
