Tickets are now on sale for the first tour of the Q150 Shed, Queensland's most unique entertainment venue, which begins in June and travels to Mount Isa, Cairns, Townsville, Mackay, Rockhampton and Maryborough.

""The entertainment and workshop programs are packed with some of Queensland's favourite and newest talent ready to strut their stuff for their State.
"The first tour of the Q150 Shed showcases more than 75 local artists, performers, story tellers and bands gleaned from auditions around the State late last year.
"What's really exciting is some of the talent that will perform in the Q150 Shed might be undiscovered on the national entertainment circuit but I wouldn't be surprised one bit if their performances in the Q150 Shed springboard their careers onto greater things.”

Indigenous visual arts project 'where we from.' banners exhibition will travel with the Q150 Shed. Modern urban dance group Raw Dance is touring to all locations on the first tour with performances and workshops.
Lyndon Terracini, Q150 Artistic Director for the Q150 Shed and Chief Executive for Major Brisbane Festivals said the great thing about the Q150 Shed was that it was a meeting place for Queenslanders to celebrate the past, present and future.
"Within the Shed, many Queensland artists will be sharing their stories through music, the spoken word and through dance," he said.
"There are wonderful artists like Raw Dance performing who are a wonderful Queensland dance group that perform all around the world and also wonderful artists from regional Queensland who have the opportunity to perform in their home towns.
"What has been fantastic is we have seen some people in the regions of Queensland who have been hiding their light under a bushel and who are terrifically talented.
"In the Q150 Shed they will have the opportunity to demonstrate that talent to a wide audience."
A second tour of the Q150 Shed will head off in October to Caboolture, Blackall, Augathella, Cherbourg, Warwick, Gold Coast and Brisbane.
