Rock n Roll High School…

  • 16yr Old American High School student Blake Pebbles has quit his sophomore year at North Raleigh Christian Academy.
This is no usual beauty school dropout story… Blake Pebbles has left school in the hope of perfecting his game on ‘Guitar Hero’. Blake’s parents have hired him a tutor and allowed him to stop attending conventional schooling because they said he wore them down with his complaints. Now the next step is for Blake to practice enough so he can hopefully reach a professional gaming level, competitive Guitar Hero can see winners earning anywhere from $25,000 - $80,000 per year. If Blake were my student he’d totally get an A+ for being completely awesome!

AC/DC…. Back in Black Ice…

  • AC/DC have announced that their new album ‘Black Ice’ will be released on October 20th. This will be the bands first studio album in eight years and features 15 new tracks from the iconic rock group. The album’s first single “Rock n Roll Train” will debut on the 28th of August and the band is set to start their first world tour since 2001 in late October of this year. No doubt it will be a delectable piece of rock n roll pie to add to an already outstanding discography… if not you can always just pump up “High Voltage” and sit back like its 1976 all over again.

A Complete Shambles…

  • Poor Pete Doherty and the boys from Babyshambles have been banned from yet another social outing. The Band were supposed to be performing at the Moonfest festival that will be taking place in Wiltshire on August 29th-31st.
Initially the band were meant to play the opening night of the festival however after a brief police investigation into the stage manner of some of the group members police concluded that their performance would be likely to incite some kind of violence from the crowd.
The reaction from the band has been one of anger but they are still determined to organise an alternative show for fans. The festival has already been selling poorly so this cut to the timetable will no doubt further jepordise ticket sales.
