The inaugural LOUD 08 OUTDOOR MUSIC FESTIVAL will be held on Sunday 8th June 08 (Queens Birthday long weekend) beside Carrara Stadium. BUTTERFINGERS, BODY JAR, RESIN DOGS Sound System will be playing along side top local bands WISH FOR WINGS, THE WINNIE COOPERS, MISDIRECTION, ROLLERBALL, MIA CARLA, MARSHALL & THE FRO, A SECRET DEATH, THE F1-11’S, A DELAYED REACTION, ENACIO, LEBELLE, SPEEDRACER, TORN ASUNDER & many more on 2 stages (visit www.themusicpit.com.au for full line up details). LOUD 08 FESTIVAL will also host the grand final of LOUD 08 BAND COMPETITION. This competition involved over 150 bands from Gold Coast, Brisbane and Sunshine Coast and only 9 bands have made it through to the grand final. The winning band will be announced at the festival and will win prizes to the value of $18 000 including $10 000 band gear supplied by BILLY HYDE MUSIC and $8 000 recording package from RECORDING OASIS This is an ALL AGES EVENT with over 18’s required to show ID to access bar areas. |
