Yes people, the rock gods are smiling upon you today! Powderfinger are very excited to announce that they are heading back on a jaunt around the nation with the Upstairs at the Downstairs tour! If this isn’t exciting enough, then how’s this – the band are asking you to vote for the set list!
Each show will be split into two hit-filled sets – one acoustic followed by a second rock set with an intermission in between. And the band are asking you to vote online for both set lists! This means that potentially every city could have a completely different fan-voted show! If this doesn’t make the tour special enough, consider this – the intimate venues will be the band’s first return to theatres in Australia in 8 years.
The band are excited to hand the power over to their loyal fan base. “We’re trying a concept we’ve never done before on a tour. One of our main focuses for this tour is to make it a little more personal and have more interaction with our fans and what they would like to hear us play. Hence, they’re choosing our set list ... we will be at their mercy!” said Darren.
