In the four dynamic years of its existence, the ST JEROMES LANEWAY FESTIVAL has established itself as the festival of choice for indie music fans Australia wide. Its rapid expansion from a humble alleyway in Melbourne to inner city spaces in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and, for the first time in 2008, Adelaide, proves that with a little imagination there is room for a unique event that stands out from the crowd. Laneway has become synonymous for cutting edge line ups, inventive re-imaginings of typically disused urban spaces and an environment that celebrates music without the huge crowds.
